a BeautiFul EaSter sUnday :)

This Easter was extra special for our family because it was Bryson's very first one!
It was a wonderful day full of sweet memories and celebration of the life of our dear Savior Jesus Christ :) Although we were unable to be surrounded by all our extended family members, we enjoyed a low-key Easter just as a family of three- plus some great friends!

The Easter Bunny came and left some goodies for all three of us :)

Bryson got some fun race cars, a fire station & firetrucks (he loves anything and everything with wheels) and a chocolate, caramel filled bunny! (we may just have to help him eat it though :)
It was sooo fun watching Bry get sooo excited about his new treats!
(p.s. I have a video of it and am trying to get it to work...hopefully soon...)

When Bryson gets excited he squeals and clenches his little fist together sooo tight,
such a silly little boy :) ohh how he makes me so very happy!!

We had a super scrumptious breakfast- some warm, hot cocoa with whipped cream & sprinkles and some gooey, melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon rolls, courtesy of Mrs. Powell's Bakery :)

While we enjoyed some delicious buns, B-man dined on some yummy cinnamon puffs, courtesy of Gerber :)

My sweet little boy rocking his food-filled cheeks!

My mom gave this pretty Easter platter to us last year, and ever since then I have been dying to make deviled eggs, place them in each little bunny head, fill the sweet little egg shakers with salt & pepper and enjoy the festivities. When we were out (in CT) just last week, my mom, sisters and I found these fun little cupcake holders...so I thought I would give it a shot and have some Easter inspired (color dyed coconut  to look like grass with candies for little eggs) treats with our dinner!

All cleaned up and ready for our company :)

We had such a wonderful day! When our friends arrived (Hunter & Kana) we dove right in! We had smoked ham, cheesy potatoes, a fresh fruit salad, warm rolls, springy green salad and of course deviled eggs! After dinner we enjoyed some good conversation and relaxation.

Later, Kana and I  took little Bryson for a stroll to enjoy the nice, warm weather! When we got back we all enjoyed some yummy cupcakes (they were funfetti!!)

Afterwards, Bryson went down for the night and the four of us watched a sweet little movie- Tangled... Soo cute btw ;)

It was an amazing day of family, friends, laughter, fond memories, love and celebration of the beautiful life of our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ!
