Hallie Mae, welcome to the world...

Hallie Mae Hessing...
arrived at 2:14 pm on Thursday, February 7th.
She came into the world as sweetly as an angel,
tears filled our eyes as we heard her tender little cry.
(Bryson came out NOT crying-he wasn't breathing, so this time the moment was extremely special when we heard her crying).
The sweet Spirit filled the room and I felt an overwhelming love for our precious
new born babe.
It was LOVE at FIRST SIGHT <3

It's super blurry because the lights were dimmed and we didn't want to use a flash,
I wish there was a way for me to clear it up!
Daddy's little girl!
I just LOVE this one-it was so special to see him look at her the way he did-PURE LOVE!

Thanks Mom, Hols, Nate and Dad for being there when Hallie was born!
She's one lucky girl to have so much love!

Outside as one of the BIGGEST/CRAZIEST blizzards was hitting New England,
we were cozy and warm inside the hospital enjoying all the sweet snuggles we could!

The storm really was crazy!
Just for memory sake, a quick recap of the craziness.
1. 34 inches of snow fell in 1 1/2 days
2. The governor declared it a state of emergency and ordered all the roads to be cleared, except for emergency personnel.
3. Fines were enforced for just being on the road, they were that bad. It was a $500 fine for just being on the closed roads and $1000 fine if you caused an accident. cRaZyy!
4. The hospital ran OUT OF FOOD!!! And no one could come or go, so most the nurses were pushing 30+ hour shifts (we felt so badly for them).
5. My boy-scout of a hubby used his resources, headed down to the closed cafeteria, bartered his way in and collected up a bit of grub to get us through the day- it was NuTs!

To us February 2013 brought a blizzard of love and pure joy!
But to the rest of New England it brought a butt load of SNOW :)
A video of the snowfall...

LOTS and LOTS of love from Daddy and Bryson- a new big brother!

Balloons, flowers and a little teddy bear for our new baby girl!

We are the luckiest parents in the world!
We are so blessed to have been given the opportunity to be Hallie's Dad and Mom!

We LOVE you Hallie... Welcome to the world!!

4 years baby!!!!

For our four year wedding anniversary, Ben and I spent a few days together in
Boston-just the two of us.
While our little B spent time with Grandma Eberly, we spent time relaxing, ordering in, taking walks, watching Grey's Anatomy and lots of sleeping in :)
My sweet hubby got a steal on some amazing tickets to the Celtics game,
so we made a whole night out of it...
took the train downtown to a yummy bar & grill for burgers before the game, then headed to the TD Garden for a night of AWESOME ;)
Thanks Benny!!!

Before heading back down to pick up our little guy, we had an amazing lunch at this quaint little Italian restaurant (a ma and pa kinda place)- it was REALLY GOOD!

And our fun few days together wouldn't be complete without our favorite ice cream-JP Licks is DELICIOUS!!

I LOVE spending time with Ben, especially when it's just the two of us together.
I am so very blessed to have found such a wonderful, loving, selfless, hardworking man to share this life with!
4 years ago we said "yes" and I couldn't be happier!
Every day that goes by I am so very grateful for our eternal marriage.
Thanks Benny for everything you do!
I'm so glad you chose me!
Here's to 4 years of happiness!!

Dear Hallie....

Dear Hallie Mae,

My sweet little girl, how much I love you already! You are in my thoughts constantly. I can't keep from dreaming about you- what you will look like, what your personality will be, how you will like this ever changing world outside my tummy. My hope is you will find peace and comfort within our little family and you will feel our overwhelming love for you.
Your daddy is amazing! He loves you so much. He tells you all the time that you are his little girl and that he can't wait to hold you. He is a wonderful role model of love, patience, kindness, hardworking, and has a great love for his family. I know he already has a special place in his heart for you, his baby girl :)
Your older brother loves you too! One of my favorite things he does is ask to kiss my tummy. He says " mommy kiss? Kiss the baby"? And after he does he says sweetly- "I love you Hallie" He is a sweet boy. I pray he will be a kind older brother and that he will treat you with love and kindness.
We love you so very much and can't wait to meet you today!

Love,
Your eternal family :)
