This past weekend Ben, Bry and I headed north!
Although it was a bit chilly, we didn't let that stand in our way of having a
fun-filled,
memory-filled,
adventure-filled
Memorial weekend 2012 :)
We bundled up and hit the trails-
four wheeling, motorcycling, hiking
& got a little fishing in too!
Sweet little Jay, beautiful Nat and crazy Trav all ready for our ride!
Jay did soooo good riding with his mamma!
Bry-guy loved running up and down the dock while we were fishing.
When he tried fishing he dropped his pole and it sunk straight to the bottom of the lake-
oops! :-(
This fun not-so-small-anymore-puppy Rigs joined in on the fun!
(Trav, Nat & Jay's new dog)
I do NOT know what got into me this past weekend,
but I totally felt "brave" (at least for me;) enough to try out the BIG BOY bikes :)
IT WAS AWESOME!!
I LOVED IT!!!
View looking down into the family room.
Such a cozy place :)
(and I didn't even realize it while I was taking the picture,
but Ben is giving little B sweet little hugs-ohh I just LOVE them!!)
The first night there we had to bundle up Bry because it was pretty chilly and we didn't want him to fall,
so we put daddy's big sweatshirt on him and tied the arms around my waist
(it actually worked).
He stayed warm and safely propped up on the four wheeler!
Can you tell (in his eyes) that he is saying "cheese!"
Ben hates taking pics by himself,
but he was a good trooper ;)
Loving our new curtains!
We finally can sleep in a little past sun up!
Excited about the new dirt bike!!!
The boys doing some fishing!
Bry and I on the four wheeler.
The entire weekend Bry would walk around either saying,
"Ride??!"
or
"Outside!"
You couldn't keep him inside or off the toys-he just loves to be a big boy!
(Ohh- and he learned how to put in the key, turn it to start, and push in the button to start the engine,
little scary)
CHICKEN FIGHT!!!
Bry loves avoiding eye contact when I'm trying to take a picture of him-
silly boy ;)
The view from our favorite spot on the trail-overlooking Cascade
We wanted to take a walk all together but didn't have a double stroller,
so we made due :)
Bry LOVES falling asleep on the four wheeler,
and sometimes it gets a bit challenging to hold him, steer
and shift all at the same time, so we came up with plan B-it worked like a charm!
Doesn't he kind of look like ET with all his gear on???
HA we had some good laughs :)
It was awesome being up there together as our little family of 3!
