Life doesn't get any better :)

Two weeks ago Bryson and I headed back to the snow covered east coast. I was really nervous about flying alone with a 7 month old, but it all turned out and we made it across the country safe and sound :)

We loved our visit with my family. It was PERFECT!! We got to sleep in, eat lots of yummy food, go shopping, play with our cousins, celebrate birthdays, see Mary perform in Chicago, take walks in 66 degree weather and visit with lots of family -Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and Great-grandparents. I miss New England sooo much and hope to one day live their with my little family.

One of the first things we did was see Mary Sunshine star in Chicago!!
She did an amazing job-so proud of her!!

Afterwards, Mom and I met our shining star in the lobby to snap some shots :)

My Uncle John, Aunt Karen and cousin Davis came up for a visit to see Mary's show & celebrate our birthdays together. It is always soo fun to see them!

We each had a cake and lots of candles to put out, especially because they were the TRICK candles, very sneaky mom ;) Auntie and I blew and blew 'till our faces were blue. The entire kitchen was filled with smoke and laughter! It was a wonderful birthday :)

Ohh how I love when I see these two together! It is so sweet to watch them interact.

Bryson loves his Carrots, Pears, Apples and Sweet Potatoes.

Bryson loves eating! Especially at Grandma Eberly's!!

This little guy is always getting into trouble and when he's caught, he always has the same look before it breaks into the most handsome smile. He gets me every time :)

Although my Dad tried to simply act it out in the kitchen to avoid having to brace the cold weather, it just wasn't the same as trudging out their ourselves, to THE HOLE. It is just that. A huge hole that my brothers are digging way back in the 40 acres of woods behind our house.
Why? There really isn't a purpose.
We had fun though, playing around and taking pictures of it.
My Dad says... "Come summer we should place a big blue tarp on the bottom, fill it up with water and have our selves our own white trash swimming pool" ha ha

This is actually the first "just the 6 of us" picture we have taken in over three years. Kinda fun!

Well, our trip was fabulous and we are already counting down the days until we get to go back, 39 days left!! this time with Ben- even better :)

Love our Eberly family, love our life and love each other!!

We will never be anything but loud!!!

Now that I finally feel a little better about being caught up from last year, I can enjoy writing about the present! This weekend wasn't as relaxing as I would have hoped, Ben worked almost 34 hours just on Saturday and Sunday :( so Bryson and I definitely missed him a lot! I think the only time we really got to be with him was for church..so that was good at least :)

On Sunday night at 11:30 pm Ben finally pulled in for the night, or so I thought. I was sooooo excited to see him I ran out into the snow with my slippers on just to greet him! But then he explained to me he had to leave, again! Ughh I was so disappointed. But then we figured we should make the best of it and decided to take Bryson and drive around together to finish up the last of Ben's work.

We ended up in Blackfoot around 1 am to finish up a job, putting all the furniture back after Ben had stripped and waxed all the floors earlier that day. While Bryson and I waited (in the car) for Ben to set the alarm inside, a policeman drove up behind us. It made me a little nervous at first because I didn't realize it was a cop and thought it was just some stranger pulling up behind us. He took out his flashlight and began to approach the car when Ben came out. He asked Ben what we were doing here so late. The policemann then proceeded to check inside the car- just to find Bryson sleeping in his car seat. He was a little suspicious that there was a drug deal going down, but we assured him we were only here on a very different kind of business. After he left, Ben realized he didn't even have his work ID with him and we surely were grateful the policeman didn't ask for one and just trusted what we said :) It was a long night!
We finally got home around 3, put Bryson down and headed to bed!
It sure is always an adventure with Ben's work!

On Monday we woke up, got ready for the day and brought Ben up to school. Bryson and I spent most the day at home reading books, playing peek-a-boo and having yelling contests. Bryson has this new thing now where he loves, loves to yell, really, for NO apparent reason, just to simply hear his own voice. He screams in sacrament meetings, at the store, in the car, when he wakes up and while he's playing. Ben and I get such a kick out of him sometimes :) It's funny because sometimes he yells so loud he scares himself and he gets this look on his face and sometimes even starts to cry, until he then realizes it was himself. HahA that's Bryson for ya, just a sweet, silly, I will never be anything but loud, little boy!

                                                               Like father, like son :)
