I have always been a huge fan of this song,

and today it is on my mind!

 There really is a deeper meaning to her lyrics, but this week

we are only thinking about it literally-

one step at a time!!

and this is because my baby took his....(drum roll please)

FIRST STEPs!!!!!

This past Monday we were down stairs with our little B.

 He was holding onto the table and he reached out for his daddy's hand, let go of the table and stepped forward by himself for the very first time.

ohhh was it an absolutely joyous moment!

Bryson got such a kick out of it, he was laughing hysterically

and was trying to run across the room before he could even get his balance.

 It sure was fun to bask in his excitement 

and admire his curiosity in this new exploration

 of walking rather than crawling.

Welcome to the world of walking little one!!

Of course, we immediately skyped both our parents so they could witness this triumphant moment ;)

What a wonderful day!

Throughout the rest of the week he has gotten stronger and a little more secure in standing up by himself and turning around. My little babe is getting wayyy to big..BUT ohh is it exciting!!
