Summer Livin: part one

This summer sure has flown by!
We have been so many places and created soo many memories that I have procrastinated writing about it, knowing it will take me several hours (and who that has a ONE yr old has several hours to do anything :) But I figure...now or never!

We finished up the semester in the end of July and started off for our 7 week adventure
(Ben and I have been saving up for over a year to take off, from work, the 7 week break between semesters and visit both are families for three weeks each!)

First stop, visiting
James Byron Hessing (aka JB)

Our little nephew was born on July 16th and is such a little love!
We had such a wonderful time visiting this sweet little boy and his wonderful parents (Trav and Nat). Congratulations you guys on such a beautiful blessing!!!

We played for a few days in Boise...

Riding in Papa's truck :)

And then little B got into a fight with some stickers...
and well I think the stickers may have won...

....and then headed back east to beautiful New England!
We seriously had such a BlAsT!!

Instead of writing a veryyyy long explination of our Connecticut adventure, I will let most the pictures do the talking- that is the ones we still have :(

 Chilling on Grandma's kitchen table

 Riding down to New Jersey!!

Have you seen the show on TLC, Cake Boss?? We headed down to NJ for a day full of yummy eating- lunch at a delicious little Italy resturant, AmAzInG cupcakes, canolli's, pastries and, of course CAKE and delicious NYC pizza!

Playing 2 hours of Pictionary while waiting in line to get into Carlo's bakery! It was raining, but they had us standing under coverings so we were HapPy!

  Inside the woNdeRfuL BaKerY :)

All our packeged-up goodies :)

Quick trip to the beach with Mar...

We had fun walking out in the low tide ocean and being hussled out of the water by all the screaming life guards running up and down the shoreline.
Of course, we thought there was a shark sighting,
 but there wasn't :(
kind of disappointing...
but don't worry, the missing child they evacuated the water for was found and returned safely to his family.

Then we SHipPed off to BOsTon for an all American classic-
a good ole bratwurst (aka- fancy hotdog :) with grilled onions on Yonkers Way,
and a good ole night of baseball at historic Fenway Park!

Nater had a fun-filled, exhausting day that left him out cold on the ride home, and of course us three sister couldn't just let him sleep, we had to mess with him a little ;)

Welcome baby Eberly #2:

In the car heading to the hospital to meet sweet little Bella!

Proud Grandparent's

Next stop....
all our favorite beaches in New England.
We took a few days and went beach hopping up the coast!

We crossed over some beautifully large bridges to get into
 Rhode Island.

The views were A-M-aMzing!!

I just love the rustic, full of sail boats, light houses and massive mansions, New England shore!!

Those are sailboats out in the distance :)

We walked along a stone walk way that over looked the vast ocean.
It was so magnificent to bask in this beautiful world our Heavenly Father has created for us.

I don't know what it is about the ocean
(maybe it's the forever horizon)
but everytime I get by this incredible body of water I always ponder
the magnitude and astounding glory of God,
His creation,
 His marvolous work,
and how somehow I am (we all are) a piece in all of this beauty....it truly "passes all my understanding"...

This next little music video is a favorite of mine.
This song has inspired me since I was in Young Women's and I hope it touches you today.

Heavenly Father truly is GlORiEs.
He is the almighty,
 the omnipotent,
the eternal father...
and this world is only a piece of His forever greatness :)

EnJoy!!

One of our last stops before leaving the islands
was to visit the incredible mansions on Newport, our favorite was the Breaker's.
It is a house (mansion) that was built 1893-1895 and still stands today
as a National Historic Landmark. Kinda cool ;)

We had some fun taking playful pictures at a nearby beach!

Then we were on our way home, but not without first stopping and having a fabulous seafood dinner at the Crow's Nest.

Their clamchowder was AweSoMe!!

Thanks Mom & Dad for such a  great beach getaway!!!

    To top off the weekend,
we ended Sunday with a little belated Graduation bash for Mary!

Yeaaaa for graduating!!!! and for some really good celebratory cake ;)
